I heard about a company that produces fine skin care products from organic flowers.  This was very intriguing to me so I decided to check it out.  BeautyfromFlowers.com is a site that promotes healthy skin habits by creating luxurious product from different types of flowers.  Little did I know that the simple yet beautiful rose is made up of 300 compounds! I learned this and more on their website.

I tried out the Mimosa and Ylang Ylang Body Polish, which is made of fine ground sugar, oils, green tea extracts, kiwi, rose, mimosa and ylang ylang among other things.  The scrub is very fine, which helps it to be easily rubbed on the skin.  The light scent was lovely in the shower, and it left my skin feeling soft and moisturized.   I am very pleased with this product. I highly suggest that you look over the other products they sell as well. Skin toners, eye treatments, cleansers and moisturizers are all available!!

The products from Beauty From Flowers are organic and PH Balanced so they wont clog your pores.  All ingredients are sourced from USDA and OCTO approved farms.   This line is also chemical and cruelty free with no parabens, petroleum, synthetic fragrances or colors.  Feel good about this one ladies!!

I had the chance to try out the Liz Earle line of botanical shampoos and conditioners. The Botanical Shine Shampoo and Conditioner is full of natural ingredients that claim to leave your hair soft, shiny and healthy. With ingredients like Meadowfoam Oil, apple extract and West African Shea Butter, I had to give these a try!

The shampoo and conditioner have a light, fresh citrusy scent.  The shampoo lathers up nicely and smells fantastic. Follow with the matching conditioner and rinse.  My hair had that ‘just out of the salon’ feel to it.  Fresh, light and healthy.  I dried and styled it as normal, and my hair looked great!  I love this product, and it is very reasonably priced.

A recent birchbox

Recently I found out about a fantastic service called Birchbox. Every month Birchbox sends me a pretty pink package full of high end samples including brands like Nars,Perricone MD, Too Faced, REN Skincare, MAC and Cargo just to name a few.

You can sign up online, and a subscription is only 10 dollars a month! You also have the choice of ordering a yearly subscription.  I have been extremely happy with all of my samples, and it is so much fun getting a beautifully wrapped present in the mail every month and is well worth the 10 dollars!!
