I first saw the Impress Press On Manicure on television, and I couldn’t wait to try them! I am a person who has great difficulty with my nails. My nails constantly chip and break, so I am always painting them in the hopes it will help save them. I don’t like getting them professionally done at a salon due to the time and money involved. These press on nails seem like the perfect solution!
I purchased the shaded called Text Appeal, which is a dark shade, much like the one pictured above. I made sure my nails were clean and dry, and free of polish. Picking out the size for each nail was a bit challenging, it seems that my nails are an odd size. As instructed, I laid out the nails first, then began applying them. The glue strips were easy to get off at first, but once I got to the 2nd hand, it was harder to pull the glue strip off with my new longer nails. Once all of the nails were applied, I was happy with the look of them. The only thing that bothered me is the Impress nails seem really thick on top of my natural nail. Its weird to see my own nail and the Impress nail on top of it.
Three nails fell off of my right hand within two days, so I replaced them with extra nails. For whatever reason, all of the nails are still intact on my left hand, and it has been four days.
Pros: Ease of use, color selection, price, long lasting
Cons: glue may not be strong enough, look ‘odd’ on top of natural nails
All in all, I am intrigued by this product, and I will most likely try them again. Next time, I may cut my nails shorter so my natural nail is not so obvious under the colored nail. The website says there are 36 styles, so I’m going to keep an eye out for them when I’m shopping. Have you tried these? What are your thoughts?

I loved then, Athena! The ones I picked up at blogher were a little short so I had to file my original nails down. I also think I had to press them on pretty hard to get them to bond completely with my nail and make sure I used the enclosed alcohol cleaning pad. They lasted a week and I got a ton of compliments on them
