Spring 2011 Nail Trends

Flipping through People the other day, I discovered the most recent nail trend – painting your nails with a single color on each nail except for a complementary color on each ring finger. I love it! Check out the lovely Vanessa Hudgens with her finger on the pulse of the newest spring trend.

I tried out this trend this weekend with Sparrow Me the Drama from the OPI Pirates of the Caribbean Nail Polish Collection on eight nails and OPI Need Sunglasses Nail Polish on my ring fingers.

Actually, I combined it with another hot spring nail polish trend – crackle nail polish. Yeah – nail polish that looks like it has cracked on your nails. It’s very edgy. The polish itself – the way it sets it clings to itself – almost like the magnetic toy – Wooly Willy

My new manicure didn’t last long, however. Today I came home to a package with my name on it, containing some great new Julep Spring Nail Polish Collection.
