Recently Proctor & Gamble sent me a new Swiffer SweeperVac, refills, all kinds of information, and a $40 Walmart gift card so that I could gift one lucky reader with a free Swiffer SweeperVac.
What did I think of the new Swiffer SweeperVac? I thought it was pretty darn great. It’s essentially a cordless rechargeable (!) vacuum with a built-in Swiffer. Hello? You had me at cordless! This fancy thing-a-ma-jig used the vacuum to pick up the big stuff while the electrostatic pad traps and locks in dust and smaller grit.
I had it charging over in a corner until I was given the perfect opportunity to use it – I broke a lamp. I picked up the big pieces, but the smaller ones were a pain. I didn’t want to dig out the big vacuum and the Dust Buster didn’t quite seem up to the task, and then the green machine in the corner caught my eye. Perfect!
I installed a Swiffer pad to the bottom and I went to work. I was amazed by the amount of suction it had – it made quick work of the glass and the Swiffer bottom cleaned up any remaining particles and rid my hardwood floor or any dust, to boot.
Now, I own a Swiffer but I don’t use it regularly – so part of me didn’t want to bother with the Swiffer pads to use the vacuum. I really just wanted to use the vacuum. But since I already had some Swiffer pads around, I think I might get a little more use out of this than I usually would.

i need a swiffer because my living room is hardwood and my kitchen it linoleum, and my old mop just isnt cutting it!
I have been dying to get one of these! I have a toddler, two dogs and nothing but tile and hardwood floors all throughout my house. I despise sweeping with a broom because it never picks everything up. I hate vacuuming because it tends to blow stuff around behind it. I’ve heard wonderful things about the swiffer sweeper vac and I’d love to have one at home!

I need the swiffer because I have a small house and a cat that loves to make messes. No matter how clean I try to keep everything, she’s always one step ahead of me. The swiffer would help me get to the top of my cleaning game… and maybe even beat the cat at her mess!

Oh man I want this! I only have carpet in the bedrooms of my house, which means I end up doing a lot of sweeping and attempting to vacuum the hard floors. I think this would work better! Plus I have little ones and they leave non-stop crumbs!

I have one and its the BOMB to clean our pergo floors! we have a tree in our front yard that has these fuzzy balls that drop and the stuff gets tracked in, I use mine everyday!! however…I would love another one for our camping trailor. I usually have a handheld in there, its linoleum and camping the dirt and dust is crazy, this would be perfect to keep in the trailor!!
