My First TweetUp

Twitter is a funny thing, it takes a while to figure it out. I’ve been using Twitter for quite a while now, but I hadn’t grasped the enormity of it until just recently when I hopped on Twitter and realized that it was the place to be – to get information – to promote – to connect. Case in point: I saw a Retweet about someone close by who needed a ride to last night’s Boston MegaTweetUp. I wanted to go, too, so I ended up picking her up on the way to the city. Diane and I had a lot in common (as did the majority of people at the MegaTweetUp) – we were social media geeks.

Long story short, Diane is in the know and introduced me to some amazing people including my new rockstar idol Leslie Poston, the talented (and gorgeous) Robbie Samuels, Ellen Rossano, Arno Grbac, Kurt Eng, Stacie Andrews, GregPC (who took my picture for his 1000 faces project), Mr. Todd Randolph, past coworker Drew Bennett, and Karen Grimmet and Margaret Donnelly from JitterGram. It was great meeting you all!

Also managed to find some stylish looks. Check ‘em out.
