Great Handmade Gifts on Etsy!

I’m a HUGE fan of Etsy.com and I actually prefer to buy handmade gifts over manufactured anyway. I’m all for supporting the little guys. I’m sure I’ve mentioned before that I can’t visit Etsy.com without spending at least an hour there searching anything and everything and adding six zillion and one more items to my favorites list.

I stopped by Etsy yesterday and got lots of great gift ideas. Here’s a smattering of items from some of my favorite Etsy gals. Head on over and show ‘em some love.

ModadiMagno - Acron PendantMy dear friend (and fellow shopping expert) Magno launched her Etsy shop over a hear and a half ago and she just keeps out-doing herself. My favorite this season? Her Fine Silver and Wool Felt Acorn Pendant. How did she know I was nuts for acorns?! Magno has lots of goodies on her site that you will adore. Trust me on this one. Last I heard she was offering 25% off and FREE SHIPPING. Head on over and see if you can still get in on that deal.

Luxe Deluxe - Button NecklaceMy favorite necklace in the whole wide world (for this week, anyway ;) ), the Bright Cute as a Button Sterling Silver Necklace, made by Luxe Deluxe who ships from Edinburgh! Firmly establishing my stance that everything wonderful comes from Scotland. It was a gift to myself and that makes me happy. I get loads of compliments on it and it makes a great gift. Check out the other greatness on Luxe Deluxe’s Etsy Site – you’re sure to find something wonderful! FREE SHIPPING on $75+

Owl Coffee SleeveI just discovered this last shop yesterday and as soon as my order was paid for, she sent me a lovely personal email. That’s the kind of stuff i like from Etsy. The personal touch. This here Owly-flavored coffee sleeve is on my wishlist for sure. Nope, I didn’t pick it up for myself (we have a strict no shopping for yourself during the holidays policy in this family), I did get another one, but I can’t share it because that would ruin the surprise. Coffee sleeves are a great idea (I’m surprised Starbucks doesn’t sell ‘em) and one simple thing that you can do to save a tree (and your hands from hot coffee!). There are tons of colors. Get three for the people on your wishlist and get the 4th FREE!

  1. I have discovered Etsy through a friend’s friend who crafts beautiful stuff too. I prefer buying and giving handmade stuff as well as they’re always original and unique. I bet Etsy would’ve tons of wonderful things this holiday season! The coffee sleeve is just awesome.

I have an Etsy shop and love it! I love the fun in creating an item and also enjoy the interactions with the Etsy folks – both admin. and fellow crafters.
    It’s the best!
